Accessibility Statement
A website that excludes people is not finished. This page states where we stand, what we have done, and what still needs work.
1. Our commitment
Mavorena Digital Strategies is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, magnification or reduced-motion settings.
2. Conformance status
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This site is designed and reviewed against that standard and we consider it substantially conformant. "Substantially conformant" means most of the site meets Level AA, and any parts that do not are listed in section 5 with a plan to fix them.
3. Measures we take
- Accessibility is treated as part of design, not a final checklist item.
- Semantic HTML landmarks, headings and lists structure every page.
- Colour combinations are chosen and tested for contrast, and colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
- Interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- Forms use real labels, helpful hints, clear error messages and an error summary.
- Motion respects the operating system's reduce-motion preference.
- Manual keyboard and screen-reader passes accompany automated checks.
4. Features on this site
- A skip link that jumps straight to the main content.
- Touch targets sized for comfortable use on small screens.
- Text that reflows and remains readable when zoomed to 200 percent.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
- Consistent navigation and predictable page structure across every route.
5. Known limitations
We publish limitations rather than hide them. Currently:
- Third-party embeds added in future may not fully meet Level AA; we evaluate them before use and prefer accessible alternatives.
- Documents supplied by clients or external parties may not be fully accessible; we can provide an accessible alternative on request.
- Longer editorial pages continue to be reviewed for heading depth and link clarity.
6. Requesting assistance
If any part of this website prevents you from finding information or contacting us, tell us what you were trying to do and we will provide the information another way — by email, by phone or in a different format — at no cost to you.

You can also use the contact form.
7. Feedback and response times
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 2 business days and to describe a fix or workaround within 10 business days. Barriers that block access to essential information are prioritised above other work.
8. Accessibility in client work
Every website we build for a client follows the same standards described here: semantic structure, tested contrast, keyboard operability, labelled forms and respect for motion preferences. Accessibility is included in the base price, never sold as an upgrade.
